Resident Evil: Extinction (2007)

Director: Russell Mulcahy

Stars: Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Oded Fehr, Mike Epps

Captured by the Umbrella Corp., Alice receives genetic alterations that leave her with superhuman abilities. Hiding out in the Nevada desert, she joins forces with former cohorts Carlos and L.J. as well as new survivors Claire, K-Mart and Nurse Betty to eradicate the virus that threatens to turn every human on Earth into a zombie.

Has the story really changed that much? They are still working on getting this virus. I might have given up by now, having to go through all what Alice has already had to experience. I would have been done and found one other person and just simply hid from all of it. That would not have been a very long movie series though. That is why I don't make movies.

This movie is filled with great action zombie scenes. It's loaded with fighting and stunts. It is really nothing but an action movie with some monsters and zombies thrown in to make the movie more of a horror movie. Like in the other movies, they have all of the action, but they still leave out a story. It is the same story for each movie. I know that most horror movies do the same thing, but it is really expected from them. You are not looking for a deep story from horror movies. Horror movies are not made for dept. These movies seem like they are trying to create a more deep story line.

For me, this is just another forgettable movie. This movie is not going to be one of those movies that is remember throughout time. It will be forgotten one day. If you are a fan of these movies, then you will agree with me at all. Enjoy.
