An arrogant young prince and his castle's servants fall under the spell of a wicked enchantress, who turns him into the hideous Beast until he learns to love and be loved in return. The spirited, headstrong village girl Belle enters the Beast's castle after he imprisons her father Maurice. With the help of his enchanted servants, including the matronly Mrs. Potts, Belle begins to draw the cold-hearted Beast out of his isolation.
This is the best version of the story of Beauty and the Beast. Disney pulled it off. I loved it the first time seeing it. I had no complaints at all with the movie. This was the first animated movie that Disney used computer imagery. They used in the ballroom scene which made the entire section of the movie flow so beautifully. It is the most recognizable part of the whole movie.
The voice actors for the movie were great. Robby Benson had not really been heard from in a while, but he was the voice of beast. It was brilliant. He was great at it. We could never forget the sweetest character of the movie, Mrs. Potts. Angela Lansbury added her sweet and caring voice to the character which really made the character come to life. All of the characters in the movie were wonderful. My favorite character in the movie is Gaston. It was odd to see a character so manly man.
The movie contain some beautiful unforgettable songs. It is one of those moments when you think about the movie, which one of the songs come to your mind. I think that is how it really is. I love all of the songs in the movie.
I love this movie. It is one of my favorite Disney full feature cartoons. It is so good. I own a few copies of this movie. This is a movie to own, if you are a fan of it. Enjoy.
