Two years after the events of Scream, Sidney Prescott and Randy are attending Windsor college. They are trying to get on with their lives. Until a new Ghostface killing spree begins. With the help of Dewey and Gale, Sidney must find out who's behind the murders. As the body count goes up, the list of suspects goes down.
Gale wrote the book on the first murders, which was then made into a big Hollywood movie. The murders start to happen all over again. Just like in the first movie, all of Sydney's friends turn up dead. She just cannot win for losing. This was a lot like the first movie. Why would you be friends with Sidney? If you knew what happened to some of her friends, you would stay away from her. You would not even talk to her. She is cursed.
This time the movie had more gore, more blood and a lot more jokes. It was just what you would think it would be. The deaths still remain kind of the same. They are good and bloody, but they are nothing that you have not seen in some other movie.
The cast for this movie is ridiculous. Do you remember all of the names in the first movie? This one is so much worse. Just look above of all of the well known names that are in this movie. It was like they just grabbed whoever was younger and popular, and they just handed then a part in the movie. With the popularity of this movie, all of the actors at least were seen on a large scale.
This was a good sequel. I just a bit annoyed with a movie when they add so many names to it. When that happens, it seems like there is not really much of a story, so they just shove as many well known names into the movie in hopes that will create a buzz around the movie and more people with go see it. This normally back fires.
This was a good movie that lived up to the first movie. This movie is worth a true horror fan to pick up the box set for their own. You can have your own viewing parties. Enjoy.
