A mother and father and their three teen-age children move to a new home that was the scene of a personal tragedy. The son meets a mysterious neighbor girl and together they experiment with an old radio they find in the attic, that can be used to communicate with the dead. Something is unleashed that brings new horror.
I was so surprised by this movie. I thought it was going to be nothing more than a B-movie, but I was shocked by how good the movie was. The movie started out generic as hell, but as soon as the movie gets going it really picks up. Yes, this is one of those movies that you have to stay with to enjoy.
This is a typical haunting movie, so you already know what to expect. The odd part about this movie was it was so much better than all of the other haunted house movies out there. There is a ridiculous amount of them coming out every year. This one creeped me out a couple of times.
The ghosts and spirits in the movie are creepy to look at. They did a really good job of creating these extra characters for the movie. The ghosts were a great addition to the movie.
It was the cast that really got my attention. I was really excited to see Ione Skye in the movie, even though she was not in the movie that much. She plays the mother, so she is just shoved to the side through most of the movie. It is really sad that is all she does now. She was great back in the day. The rest of the cast were most unheard of, but they were really good in the movie.
I think this movie well worth watching at least once. I was not disappointed in it at all. If you have not seen it yet, then you should give it a chance. Enjoy.
