Looking to escape from his dying world, the orc shaman Gul'dan utilizes dark magic to open a portal to the human realm of Azeroth. Supported by the fierce fighter Blackhand, Gul'dan organizes the orc clans into a conquering army called the Horde. Uniting to protect Azeroth from these hulking invaders are King Llane, the mighty warrior Anduin Lothar and the powerful wizard Medivh. As the two races collide, leaders from each side start to question if war is the only answer.
This movie is based on the online computer game World of Warcraft. I do not know anything about the game, but I know many people that play the game. I know game players were really looking forward to this movie coming out. They get to see the characters, lands and story come to life on the big screen in front of their eyes. This game is very additive.
The creation of these characters were wonderful to see. They really did look real at times. I was super impressed with the look of the animated characters. The lands that they made for the movie looked real. The computer work for this movie was over the top. Then you have the battle scenes for the movie. Those were incredible. You get into the movie and what is going on. I really did enjoy those aspects of the movie.
The story was really good and interesting, if you like fantasy movies. I did not know anything really about WOW, but I was still able to enjoy the movie any way. This is still a good movie to watch. If the fact that you do not know anything about WOW stills keeps you away from the movie, then do not let that happen. It is worth watching at least once. Enjoy.
