INDIA BLUES is an edgy, bold and passionate love story between two young men who are sometimes afraid to love each other.
This a beautifully made movie. These two men have an intense passionate love for one another, but for some reason, they just cannot get it together. Through exploring their experiences and the trivial or important moments in their relationship in real time like their first kiss, their first sexual encounter, their awkward silences, their last hug. We are submerged in their universe of love and the feelings that come with it. The feelings the characters experience are not presented to us in sequence, but in the "wrong" order - Pain, Lust, Happiness, Jealousy, Attraction, Peacefulness, Love and Anger, function as eight segments-chapters in the coming together and the tearing apart of two very different people. The intensity of the two characters' feelings, which is high lightened even more by the fact.
The mood for the movie was sad, intense and very sexual. There were scenes that are sad and super hot at the same time. The sex between these two men is so wonderful and sad at the same time. These men are over and looking back at their relationship. The rooms alone show the emptiness that both of them are feeling.
This is a movie that you do have to read into, but once you get involved the sad story really comes to life. There are several nude scenes in this movie, so if that bothers you then do not watch it. There is even a scene where one of the characters has an erection and is masturbating. It is not a quick scene. It is a long shot for what is happening.
I liked the movie. It was interesting movie and beautifully shot. Most of the movie is white which makes the nudity and sex seem more pure. I think this is a movie that needs to be watched. It is a foreign movie. That should not stop you at all. Enjoy.
