A rich but racist man is dying and hatches an elaborate scheme for transplanting his head onto another man's body. His health deteriorates rapidly, and doctors are forced to transplant his head onto the only available candidate: a black man from death row.
This is one of those cheesy movies from the 70's that was really just made for laugh. I doubt this movie was made to be serious. This movie was almost funny. It was the 70's, and there were many movies dealing with race issues. This is just another movie about a racist white man that is now stuck with a black man, but they just somehow learn to get along. That was the idea, but it all just came off cheesy as hell.
The best part of the movie was the two headed gorilla. That scene where the gorilla goes into the grocery store sitting there eating bananas, because that is what a two headed gorilla is going to do. Special effects master Rick Baker played the gorilla. Knowing that he was in the movie, you would think that the special effects in the movie would have been better. When it showed the two headed man, you could really tell that the white man was just standing behind the black man.
The dialogue for the movie was pretty good and hatefully mean in the movie. The head just give it to one another just as soon as they got connected to each other. It is still a decent movie to watch and laugh at. It is just a cheesy movie to sit and watch late at night. Enjoy.
