Desperate for money to pay off a debt, a man targets a wealthy family's home and plans to break in and steal a valuable gem. He soon learns that he picked the wrong night to carry out his plans, for a masked madman has gotten there first, imprisoned the family, and lined the mansion with deadly traps.
What a creepy trippy movie. I mean this guy was just going to rob this house, so he himself is a crook. There is just someone there either wanting him and the family that lives there. He wants to kill as many as he can. He wants no one to leave alive. That house is ridged for death and torture.
Now, I am not going to go through every single death and killing that is in this movie. That would just give it all away. That is no fun at all for the viewer. I will just say that some of them are really hard to watch. If you just match in your mind to what you are seeing in TV, and you think about it. You will cringe. It is pretty awful to think about it.
The Collector is nothing but a sick and twisted man that likes to see people hurting. He does not want to just kill people, because that is just too easy with not enough pleasure for him. He wants to know and see that his victims are in pain for long periods of time. He gets off on their pain and misery. The longer the pain last the better it is for him.
I know that this movie is nothing but a rip off of the Saw movies. Duh! It is still a good movie, not a great one. It is worth watching, if you have not yet seen it. I liked it. The death and torture scenes were well worth watching. Enjoy.
