Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004)

Director: Alexander Witt

Stars: Milla Jovovich, Sienna Guillory, Eric Mabius, Mike Epps, Zack Ward

A deadly virus from a secret Umbrella Corporation laboratory underneath Raccoon City is exposed to the world. Umbrella seals off the city to contain the virus, creating a ghost town where everyone trapped inside turns into a mutant zombie. Alice, a survivor from Umbrella's secret lab, meets former Umbrella security officer Jill Valentine and mercenary Carlos Oliviera. Together, they search for a scientist who might be able to help.

They made another one of these movies. In this movie, you get more into the story, but the story is still pretty thin. There is no dept to this story at all. This movie is a lot like the rest. It is an action movie with some horror thrown in to sell the movie to that audience. You have all of these people running upon these zombie creatures that are looking for food. In this chapter, they are looking for a man that can fix all of this. Like that is going to happen. They will lose money without more movies to make.

The special effects and the stunts were better in this movie. They took a good hard look at the first movie to see where they could make the next movie even better for the audience. The only bad part is it is just more of the same. There was a new monster zombie added to this movie, but you have seen it before in other movies and the games.

The main reason, I think, that these movies are as successful as they are is Milla Jovovich. I will always say it. She is an incredibly beautiful woman. Her body is amazing. Teenage boys and grown men are watching these movies to see her barely dressed. I mean, I get it. She is a hot woman that could kick your ass, and that idea is really hot for a lot of guys. It is normal.

This is not a great movie. It is an action movie, and it is really nothing else more. It may be worth watching once. You may be watching this movie for other reasons, but let's just not get into that. There will be many of you out there that will love this movie. Enjoy.
