Mazer Rackham, himself, takes Ender as a protégé to prepare him for the oncoming war.
This is a review of the movie and not of the book.
First of all, The was a visually stunning movie. The creation of the space ship and the costumes put you inside of the ship with those kids like you were going to help with all of this training. The inside training section of the ship was something that all ages would love to experience for themselves. The movie looked great. The story was good and a bit twisted. I will not explain it, since I do not want to give away the story.
The cast for the movie was good. I really did not have any complaint with the cast at all. Harrison Ford looks too rough to play these parts though. He is just getting to old for these roles. Asa Butterfield was really good in the movie. He was believable in his part. Ben Kingsley was good in the movie. His role was important, but not enough for the movie. There is more in the book. Viola Davis was not in the movie that much, but she was really good in her role as she is always is.
I was really surprised by how good this movie was. I normally stay away from movie about or dealing with children. It is just not my type of movie, but this one was different. This one was better than most movie with a similar theme. This movie is worth watching. The story is crazy, but it is very interesting. Enjoy.
