A young man and his friends venture into the Black Hills Forest in Maryland to uncover the mystery surrounding his missing sister. Many believe her disappearance 17 years earlier is connected to the legend of the Blair Witch. At first the group is hopeful, especially when two locals act as guides through the dark and winding woods. As the night wears on, a visit from a menacing presence soon makes them realize that the legend is all too real, and more sinister than they could have ever imagined.
Was this movie even necessary? I mean there was a sequel to The Blair Witch Project that had almost nothing to do with the first movie. Now all of these years later, there needs to be a proper sequel to the movie. I mean, I guess it was needed, but does it need to be so close to the original movie?
The movie was so much like the original that it was not even funny. At first, I thought this was a remake. As I started watching the movie, I still thought it was going to be a remake. There was just too much in this movie as the first one.
The story was that the brother of one of the women from the first movie was going to find her. He saw a video were he thought he saw her in it. When these younger people were out camping there were the same twig sculptures hanging from the trees.
It had been over ten years since his sister went missing, so he thinks that he can just go exploring out in the woods and find her hiding in this house out in the woods. If she was still out there by some chance, she would not be the same person at all. She would be half way crazy, and you would not want to be around her. She would have found her way home by then, if she would have been alive and not tied up or trapped under something.
The characters in this movie were terrible. As always, none of these people would have been friends at all. They all sucked. The couple that lead the made group out there needed to be done away with. As the movie went on they got even worse. They were just annoying.
This is another one of those movies that did not need to be made at all. It is really not worth watching at all. It was dull and boring with too much repetition through the movie. This is one of those movies to skip. I watched it, so you don't have to.
