Luke Skywalker battles horrible Jabba the Hut and cruel Darth Vader to save his comrades in the Rebel Alliance and triumph over the Galactic Empire. Han Solo and Princess Leia reaffirm their love and team with Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian, the Ewoks and the androids C-3PO and R2-D2 to aid in the disruption of the Dark Side and the defeat of the evil emperor.
This was the coolest of the Stars Wars movies. I love this one. When I was younger, I loved the Ewoks. They were like little teddy bears that you want to sleep with every night. They were really the stars of this movie for little kids.
The action for this movie was amped up to make the best "ending" to a trilogy. The Rebellion coming together to fight for their freedom from the Dark Side. Darth Vader had started working on building a new Death Star to rule the galaxy.
The craziest part of these movies is how do they get the money to travel and do all of this? Skywalker was a poor moisture farmer, but he somehow has gain the money to travel all over. I just guess that the Princess pays for all of it. One that note about money, how in the hell do you even start to build a Death Star? That thing is as big as a Moon. Where in the world to you begin to get the funds for a project like that? In the future there must be a lot of millionaires.
You know this movie, and if you do no, then there is something wrong with you. This is a great classic movie. This is a box set to add to your collection. It so well worth it. I love to watch it during the holidays. Enjoy.
