Chillerama (2011)

Directors: Adam Green, Joe Lynch, Bear McCreary, Tim Sullivan

Stars: Adam Rifkin, Sarah Mutch, Ray Wise, Lin Shaye, Eric Roberts, Ron Jeremy, Sean Paul Lockhart, Kane Hodder

It's the closing night at the last drive-in theater in America and Cecil B. Kaufman has planned the ultimate marathon of lost film prints to unleash upon his faithful cinephile patrons. Four films so rare that they have never been exhibited publicly on American soil until this very night! With titles like Wadzilla, I Was A Teenage Werebear, The Diary of Anne Frankenstein, and Zom-B-Movie, Chillerama not only celebrates the golden age of drive-in B horror shlock but also spans over four decades of cinema with something for every bad taste.

Wadzilla was silly as hell. This man ends up with murderous killer sperm that wants to kill everything it sees. If this type of subject matter would have been allowed during the 50's and 60's, this would have been a great full length movie. It would have been a popular B movie for then, but not today. The only people that would have liked a movie like this are the ones that get the joke. I thought this segment was pretty good.

I Was A Teenage Werebear was really bad. First of all, it was called werebear, and there was not hardly any sight of hair. There was only one furry guy in this short. That was pretty stupid. It just does not make any sense to the story. Second,  Sean Paul Lockhart, aka Brent Corrigan, was in this part singing. He cannot not sing at all, and he cannot act. He is really bad. He should just stick to gay porn. I just think that this segment was pretty dumb.
The Diary of Anne Frankenstein was bad as well. Hitler's army creates a Jewish Frankenstein. Really? That is all I have to say about that. It was even in German with subtitles and shot in B&W. It was just way too pretentious for me.

Lastly, we have Zom-B-Movie. It kind of runs through the entire movie till the end. It is just your basic someone was exposed to something that turned them into a zombie.

This is not a great movie at all. It is a bad movie, but it is suppose to be bad, I think. They are not taking themselves too seriously at all with this movie. They got a cast that will show up to anything with a camera. It is worth watching once, but you may get more of a thrill out of. Enjoy.
