Ultraviolet (2006)

Director: Kurt Wimmer

Stars: Milla Jovovich, Cameron Bright, Nick Chinlund, William Fichtner

In the late 21st-century, a vampiric disease modifies some people, imbuing each of them with superhuman strength, intelligence and speed. Worldwide civil war looms as normal people, feeling threatened by their enhanced brethren, demand the extermination of the group. One such transformed female finds herself caught in the crossfire when she becomes the protector of a boy who is perceived to be a threat to humanity.

This entire movie was nothing but action shots and special effects. They were all really good though, but could they not have spent some more time on the script. I mean this story was so thin. It was forgettable almost. The story is completely forgotten while watching this movie, since the main parts of the movie that you remember are the fighting scenes. That's it.

Milla Jovovich was really good in this movie. She is good in almost anything thing that she does. None of the rest of the cast really stands out. They really could have been anyone. That is the worse part about the whole movie. They did not really add anything to the movie. The whole movie was about the Violet character, the rest just did not matter at all to the movie. She was in most of the scenes, and the title had her name in it.

This is not a movie that I would ever recommend anyone watching. It just was not worth watching. It just was bad. I watched it, so you don't have to.
