In Ancient Greece 1200 B.C., a queen succumbs to the lust of Zeus to bear a son promised to overthrow the tyrannical rule of the king and restore peace to a land in hardship. But this prince, Hercules, knows nothing of his real identity or his destiny. He desires only one thing: the love of Hebe, Princess of Crete, who has been promised to his own brother. When Hercules learns of his greater purpose, he must choose: to flee with his true love or to fulfill his destiny and become the true hero of his time. The story behind one of the greatest myths is revealed in this action-packed epic of a tale of love, sacrifice and the strength of the human spirit.
This was one of the worst Hercules movies that I have seen. The Hercules movies that Lou Ferrigno were so much better than this one. I did not see that much magic and fantasy that I have usually see in the other movies. I wanted more than just fighting scenes. I wanted to see magical monsters and creatures. It just did not happen.
The cast was the most in basic actors that I have seen. None of the actors really stood out to me. Kellan Lutz was a terrible Hercules. When I think or imagine what Hercules looks like, Kellan Lutz is the last person that comes to mind. I see a tall bearded and muscled dark haired man that is really furry. You know a man's man should play the role. Kellan Lutz is a blond smooth bodied man. Hercules was Greek and this was ancient times, so there were not men shaving their entire bodies for the sake of vanity. It was just a distraction to me, since most of the men looked like that.
This movie was dull and boring. It was not even worth wasting the time watching it. I would not even watch this movie, if I saw it coming on cable. This is one to skip. I watched it, so you don't have to.
