Emmet, an ordinary LEGO figurine who always follows the rules, is mistakenly identified as the Special, an extraordinary being and the key to saving the world. He finds himself drafted into a fellowship of strangers who are on a mission to stop an evil tyrant's plans to conquer the world. Unfortunately for Emmet, he is hopelessly and hilariously unprepared for such a task, but he'll give it his all nonetheless.
This was a really cute movie. I loved LEGOS when I was a kid. I still love them. All kids need them. The video games were amazing, so now there is a movie. That was a great idea, and they pulled it off. The talent that was included for the voice work are some of the best newer comedy talent that there is. The movie ended up funny for all ages instead of just for children.
It was great that they added all of the LEGO universe for this movie. They added the DC characters in the movie. They even added some new characters/figures for the movie. You just wonder how long did it take to make this movie. It looked great. I saw not mistakes.
The look of the movie and the story was great. This may not be a movie for all adults, but kids will love it. This will be a movie to add to your collection for your kids, if you have not already. Enjoy.
