Greta is a young American woman who takes a job as a nanny in a remote English village, only to discover that the family's 8-year-old is a life-sized doll that the parents care for just like a real boy, as a way to cope with the death of their actual son 20 years prior. After violating a list of strict rules, a series of disturbing and inexplicable events bring Greta's worst nightmare to life, leading her to believe that the doll is actually alive.
This movie received some really bad reviews. I did not understand why. It was so much better than I thought it was going to be. I was not expecting much at all from this movie. Most of the horror movies that have been coming out have been terrible. It was nice to see and watch a more original story for a horror movie.
I will not give away any of the details of the movie. I do not want to spoil the movie for any of you at all. The movie was really good. It is a bit slow at first, but it is one of those movies that you have to stick with till the end. It has a great ending which made for a great movie over all.
It is a better movie than all of the others have said it is. I was really surprised by how much that I liked it. You should give it a chance. You may really like it. Enjoy.
