Sacrifice is the story of consultant surgeon, Tora Hamilton, who moves with her husband, Duncan, to the remote Shetland Islands, 100 miles off the north-east coast of Scotland. Deep in the peat soil around her new home, Tora discovers the body of a young woman with rune marks carved into her skin and a gaping hole where her heart once beat. Ignoring warnings to leave well alone, Tora uncovers terrifying links to a legend that might never have been confined to the pages of the story-books.
This was a slow dull movie. It was like watching a horror movie on the LifeTime Channel. It could have been on there. The story was just not there at all. I just did not care about anything going on in the movie or the cast. It was just moving pictures on the screen. This movie was not a horror movie at all. It was barely even suspenseful. It was just okay. The acting was not bad in the movie.
The story was just not there. It needed help. It could have been much better. This seemed like a housewife/middle aged lady horror movie. This movie is not for horror fans. This is a movie that I would skip. It just was not worth it to me at all. I watched it so, you don't have to.
