When four generations of the Cooper clan come together for their annual Christmas Eve celebration, a series of unexpected visitors and unlikely events turn the night upside down, leading them all toward a surprising rediscovery of family bonds and the spirit of the holiday.
This is not the typical Christmas movie by any means. You are just dealing with this family that is getting together for Christmas, maybe for the last time. The family is falling apart. It makes for a dysfunctional Christmas movie. It is still not much of a Christmas movie. It just mainly could have just taken place around Christmas time.
This was not a bad movie, but it was not a great one either. It was worth watching. You have a great cast. This is what made me want to watch the movie. To have these great actors in a Christmas movie, I want to watch it. I wish it would have been a better movie, but it was good enough. It is one of those movies that if you family is dysfunctional, then you will understand some of the set ups in the movie.
This is still a decent movie to watch, but it is really not a holiday movie. You are probably not going to seek out this movie to watch every Christmas. Just give this movie a chance to see if you really like it. Enjoy.
