In 1977, paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren travel to London, England, where single mother Peggy Hodgson believes that something evil is in her home. When Peggy's youngest daughter starts showing signs of demonic possession, Ed and Lorraine attempt to help the besieged girl, only to find themselves targeted by the malicious spirits.
This was a really good movie. It started out where the first one left off, but then it turned and switched to a case in London. I was a bit disappointed that this one was not the Amityville case. It was still an interesting story.
It was a pretty scary movie for most. There were some scenes that made me jump and jerk in my seat. The special effects were great. The special effects completed the look and the feel of the movie. People and things were being thrown all over the rooms. It looked really cool to watch.
The acting for this movie was great. Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson were great in returning to these roles. The rest of the cast was made up of many newer people to the movies, but their performances were great.
Now, this movie does not have anything to do with the first story. You get to learn more about the Warrens in this movie. It shows them more at home and their daughter. D not go into this movie comparing it to the first one, because you may not like it then.
I thought this was a great movie. It was well worth going to the theater to see firsthand. I have recommended this movie to many people. They have all loved it as well. Enjoy.
