What in the hell was this? I am not a fan of remakes and reboots, but this one was the worst that I have seen so far. Here is the positive side of the movie. The movie was well made and shot. The places where they filmed the movie and all of the screens and background images were breathtaking. Some of the most beautiful places and interesting areas were in this movie.
Here are the bad parts of the movie. where was the script? Was it more than five pages? It did not seem that there was much dialogue to the movie at all. It was mostly stunt shots and background. Does that make for a movie? I do not think so. The acting in the movie was fair, since most of the movie involved stunt people to take these crazy risk. I just hope that a lot of the movie was shot in front of a green or blue screen, instead of real death scares.
If you are going to remake a movie then it should be close to the same or better. This one was unwatchable. It was like they were trying to make a bad movie. The only people that I think would really like this movie would be people that are into extreme sports. It was like watching ESPN extreme sports footage. I was never so bored in a movie. I watched it, so you don't have to.
