A journey into the world of voguing. In downtown Los Angeles, hunky and homeless Brad falls in with the members of the House of Eminence, ruled by aging diva Queef Latina. She keeps a loving watchful eye over her family of misfits. When two of her crew fall for Brad, the Queef is royally unamused.
The movie was trying to be a newer movie version of Paris is Burning. It is not, not even close. There is a weak story about one young man being thrown out of his mother's house, and then he meets a young man that is into voguing competitions. The some of the members of the house does not like the new guy trying to live there. It ends up being dull drama in the movie. You just see it coming. The worst part of the movie is that it also wants to be a musical. It is just not working.
This is a movie that I would never watch again. It was just bad. There was nothing remotely even interesting to it. It was trying to be to movie version of a great documentary. Some people just cannot leave well enough alone. The only good part of the movie was that Lady Red Couture was in it. This is one of those movies that I say skip it. It just is not worth the time to watch. I watched it, so you don't have to.
