A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth's dominant species.
Here is the sequel. I was wondering how they were going to do it. When I heard the original title to the movie was going to be Caesar. I was floored. I just knew that they were going to skip ahead and the apes would have taken over the planet, but it was not that far along. The movie takes place right before people are taken as slaves or however they are going to do it.
This movie takes place several years later, when most of what man has made is now falling apart and failing. It still takes place in San Francisco. The look of the city seemed real. It looked like they went there and grew vines all over the place. The settings for the movie are excellent. The apes looked great in this movie as well. There were a few times where the flow of the movie fell under, but that happens at times. It was no big deal. This movie was even more of an action movie than anything else.
Like I said, the look of the movie was great. The special effects were almost flawless. The creation of all of the other animals added to a more complex background for the movie. I would recommend this movie to any sci-fi fan. Enjoy.
