Budapest, 1989. A disparate group is gathered together as the winners of the opportunity to be present at the re-opening of an authentic Hungarian castle, untouched for five hundred years. Once settled in the castle itself, the people begin to get picked off one by one.
This one is one of the worst and most boring in the entire Howling series. There are so many of people walking down hallways and naked women. This is close to a Playboy Channel horror movie. When you watch the movie, you see how dated it really is. It straight up looks like a movie from 1989.
There is nothing scary or creepy in this movie at all. It is a bit boring at times. It just seems like it is taking forever for something to happen in the movie. This movie is more of a who done it mystery, then anything else. It only becomes a horror movie toward the end of it.
I think the biggest mistake was placing the movie in a castle. It would have been better, if this was a vampire movie but not a werewolf movie. The castle looked really good.
This is a movie that needs to be remastered and put on blue ray, so you can watch and see the movie better. It my make the movie better, than watching the VHS/DVD version. Enjoy.
