This third chapter in the Insidious movies was a prequel because we really cared about what happened before the first movie. It just showed how they all met, and they threw in a case to make a movie. This was made for money and nothing more. I really did like the first two movies a lot, so I was looking forward to seeing this one. I saw the trailer and was not too impressed, but that happens a lot with movies. The trailer showed how boring the movie was. It did not disappoint at all. I will never understand why they even make all of these prequels. If there is an interesting story there, well sure, but if you are having to really stretch a story, then you need to give it up.
This movie was nothing but disappointing. It was made for nothing but money. The story is pretty weak, but they do work to try and tie in the other two movie without looking too forced. If you feel you need to see this movie, then by all means watch it, but I warned you. It is just not something I care to ever watch again. I watched it so you don't have to.
