Paul is a U.S. truck driver working in Iraq. After an attack by a group of Iraqis he wakes to find he is buried alive inside a coffin. He only has a lighter and a cell phone in the box with him. He has to contact someone to help him out of this death trap, but he does not really know where he is.
The entire movie Ryan Reynolds is buried in a long box underground in the desert. I am not kidding you at all. He is calling people on this cell phone that was buried with him. There is not a whole lot that is going on in this movie at all, except for him screaming and freaking out a lot. Who would not act in the same? If you are going to have Ryan Reynolds buried in a box, then you need to have him naked or at this half undressed. They would have gotten more people in to watch the movie.
I am sure that making this movie was a big risk, since how many people want to sit in a theater for that long watching a man buried alive in a box. If you are claustrophobic, then this movie would be you hell to watch. It is a movie that will scare the hell out of you.
This movie is pretty boring. I understand the concept and the whole thing, but the movie just did not pay off at all. It is not a movie that you would want to watch again. I do not think it was a rewatcher at all. It was barely worth watching once. This is a movie that I would skip. I watched it so you don't have to.
