A boy and his mother take a cab home from the cinema. The cab driver, Bob, takes them back to his home where kills the mother and kidnaps the little boy. Bobs changes the boys name to rabbit and makes him clean up the house and cook for him. After years of Bob bring home women to have sex with them and then kill them, he wants rabbit to follow in his footsteps.
This movie is more complex than you would think it is. On the surface it looks like a normal serial killer type movie with lots of killing with very little story line to be spoke of. This movie deals with some very dark shattered emotional issues that the character of Bob has been going through his whole life. When you add this young boy that he is basically raising on his own, the story and emotions get even thicker.
The air of the movie was dark and sad. The actors were perfect for the movie. The look of the movie was so dirty and dank that you could almost smell it. The movie makers captured the look and the feel from the actors and the scenes to create this dark look into mental illness and greed.
I thought this was a great movie. It was so much better than I thought it would be. You should watch this movie. It is a truly twisted tale of one man's life. Enjoy.
