Two investigators have been hired to search for a college student. When they arrive to the address where he has been staying, they have to break in through a back window. while looking through this house, one of them find a room with televisions stacked on top of each other and a VCR with stacks of VHS tapes. She starts to play some of the tapes to discover scenes of different grizzly deaths. The student that they are looking for has only left a message on a laptop left in the same room.
The second trip down the VHS road is made up of four different stories. The first one is about a man that has state of the art eye surgery, but he starts to see things that may not be real. In the second story, a cyclist is attacked by strange "people". The third story is the most interesting one dealing with a killer cult. The last story is about a bunch of stupid kids staying alone with friends, and they get visitors.
This one was not near as good as the first one. The one even seemed more amateur than the first one. I know what you are thinking that the movie is suppose to be like that. It was just so bad. The stories were over too quick or lasted too long. The third story was the most interesting out of all of them. That could be an entire movie on its own. The make-up and special effects were well done in the movie, for the most part. It was the last story that really did it in for me. It was the worst.
I would say skip this movie all together. The seven directors could not even make this movie worth viewing. I would not waste the time watching it. There are better movies out there. I watched it so you don't have to.
