Mia Medina is working on a video thesis on the effects of Alzheimer's disease. Sarah Logan has been taking care of her mother, Deborah, that is battling the disease, so she takes the offer to partake in the study. They really need the money that Mia is offering. During their stay at the house, Deborah starts to act out in different ways, and Sarah uncovers a family secret about her mother with the help of their neighbor, Harris.
I know this is a found footage movie or whatever in the hell they are calling them now, but this one was pretty good. That is really saying something since I am not a fan of these movies at all. I still give them a shot, cause you never know. You may find a good movie.
The movies starts out kind of sad. This poor woman is dealing with the most cruel disease, Alzheimer's disease. Her daughter has put her life on hold to care for her mother. I'm telling you nothing happy at all for the beginning of the movie. As it movie gets going it is so much better. It is not like most found footage movies where everything happens at the very end of the movie. This one gives you teases through the whole movie. You always have this feeling of that is nasty or what is going to happen. It is not boring at all.
I think you should give this movie a chance. It was a lot better than I thought it would be. The cast is small, so there is not a lot of names to get up with or anything like that. The story is very interesting, and there some really gross scenes included. Enjoy.
