Lisa Templeton is hired on as part of the overnight cleaning crew at the High Hopes Hospital located in Amityville, Long Island. At the very start of the first night she feels uncomfortable being inside this place. Her boss is showing her around the hospital to let her know what her responsibilities will include. One of the orderlies started to sexual harass her as her was working, and some of the other staff is very rude to her. She starts to see ghosts roaming around the halls. Lisa decides to ask her friend about the area to see if she can figure out what is going on in the hospital.
That review just made that movie sound more interesting than it is. Trust me. You see the title of this movie and think that it is another Amityville Horror movie, but you are wrong. It is about an asylum that is in the town. Not about the house or artifacts from the house like in some of the other movies. The house is shown in the movie, and the story is told in the movie. That is all.
The odd part of the movie is that the main character did not known the story of the Amityville House. It has only been around for a few decades, and they have only been a few movies on the subject made. She had never heard of the case. She must live in that house under the rock, or she is just really stupid, or she was a deaf mute until she started working there.
There are patients and employees being killed off by one another through the movie. she is being stupid weird in this movie. I do not recommend watching this movie at all. I watched it so you don't have to.
