This is the second edition of the 26 chapter anthology of all of the different ways of death. Twenty six plus directors were given a letter and had to develop a short movie about death using the letter they were given.
This movie was not near as good as the first one, but you would expect with a sequel. The sequel was not a continuation from the first at all, so I thought it would be better. The concept of the movie is still a great idea, but I just do not know why better director do not offer up a piece of their work to enter into the movie. I have never heard of any of the directors from either one of these movies. I am sure that I have probably seen their work before, but never knew or even bothered to look them up. That is really saying something there.
The main really neat part about this one was the opening and closing credits and the introduction to each chapter. They play like a twisted vintage children's text book. Those sections were really the highlight of the most of the movie. They did look really neat.
The actual chapters were pretty lame for the most part. The first movie had some really good parts in it. This one had a few good one and most of the rest were boring or just really bad. There were two of the stories that I found flat out offensive, and there is very little that offends me. Just watch out for them. The last one was the best out of the whole movie, so just keeping watching or skip to it. It is a story that could be made into a feature film. Enjoy.
