Marybeth shows up at the police station covered in blood with part of a human in her hand, saying that she killed Victory Crowley. She gets arrested, and reporter that has been working on the Victory Crowley case post her bail. Rescue squad and ambulances have gone out to collect the bodies, but the medical teams are disappearing. The sheriff and a SWAT team goes out into the swamp to find out what is going on. Victory Crowley has come back to hunt down anyone that comes to his swamp. Marybeth is still the key to end the haunting of the swamp.
In the third and hopefully the last installment of these movies, there was not much of a story line at all. Now, don't get me wrong. The movie was good and entertaining, but it was the same thing as the last one. I was not expecting a lot, but I just wanted movie from the last one. The blood and gore was definitely there which was great to see. I mean there was more body parts being torn off and ripped up than in both of the other two movies. The gore was not a letdown at all.
For this movie, they pulled even more past horror actors out of the bag. Zach Galligan, from the Waxwork movies and Gremlins, was the sheriff. It had been a long time since I had really seen him in anything. Caroline Williams was in Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 and Leprechaun 3. For the third time, Parry Shen was in this movie. It was not really surprising to see him in the movie, but it is just odd that he did all three movies. Every time he played a different character.
I still liked this movie even though it was the worst of the three. It is still worth watching just to find out how the trilogy ends. Enjoy.
