Marie a.k.a. Rogue was making out with her boyfriend, when she started to suck the life out of him. She runs away from home to meet Logan a.k.a. Wolverine. Leaving together they runs into other mutants that are looking for Rogue. After the Logan being knocked out, they end up in a mansion, a school for gifted children. Professor Charles Xavier runs the school to help mutants and leader of the X-Men. Senator Kelly is on board to cure the mutants of their uniqueness. Eric Lensherr a.k.a. Magneto wants to start a war with humans to be superior over all mankind. The X-Men have to stop Magneto and his crew from killing everyone.

When this movie was announced the entire comic world applauded and tensed up at the same time. People could not believe that it was going to happen, and they were scared that Hollywood would completely screw it up. For the time period and advances in movie special effects, the time was finally here to make the X-Men movie the way it should be done. These are mutants with crazy powers , and several of them do not look like regular humans. They pulled off the make-up to create the look for Mystique. She looked amazing, and her acting was spot on.

The cast was great for the most part. Hugh Jackman became the hottest sexiest ticket in town. It was the shirtless muscled up furry chest that sent people overboard. He really made the movie with those few shirtless scenes. Everyone else was great in their role. I will always say this. I know I need to get over it, but what in the hell did they do to Storm? I know movie are more interested in name than anything else. Halle Berry was a terrible pick for the part. Iman would have been the best choice for Storm. I mean just look at that woman. She is tall, thin and has the accent. Just image Iman in a big long white wig. Now you get it.

The story for the movie was a big meet and great for the X-Men and the Brotherhood. You got to see how they created the few characters that were included in the first movie. The movie was a battle between good and evil, when you really think about it. Humans want the mutants to be identified with some sort of mark, like the Jews were.

The movie is great. I just hope some dumbass wants to revamp the movie. You know it will happen someday. This movie started the Marvel movie craze. I am glad it happen. We owe it all to this movie. It is a movie to own. Enjoy.
