Johnny Blaze is back as Ghost Rider, and he is in Eastern Europe trying to stop Mephistopheles, now Roarke, from turning to human form on Earth. Johnny is approach by a monk named Moreau who tells him that he can free him from his curse, but Moreau needs his help in protecting a boy that is Mephistopheles son. Nadya made a pact with Mephistopheles, then she gave birth to the devil's son.
This movie is all over this place. First of all, they changed the attitude of Johnny Blaze from a laid back, non caring mood and manner to an uptight and almost angry man. He was the only actor to come back. Peter Fonda passed on this, so they had to get someone else. The look of the movie was beige. I mean boring monotone colors in almost every scene. The first one used the black background so the fire would look even better than you think it could. They decided the colors of the middle eastern desert was good enough, lots of tans and beige.
This movie was a huge disappointment. I didn't expect to like it, but I really liked the first one. This one was in 3-D, but they should have saved that money and made a better movie. I would not waste the time watching this one. Skip it.
